Crete 2023

This year our autumn vacation took us to Greece, to the beautiful island of Crete.
We have chosen a family hotel at the north coast, close to Heraklion, Amnissos Beach.
Nicely located directly at a sandy beach, with pools and playground for kids... And a kids pool area with lots of water slides for all ages.

Not that much of animation for the kids compared to Teneriffa.

But kids disco each night and a gambling house directly besides the disco area... 
We did not do that may trips during this holiday. All in all the time was too short. Nevertheless, one day we took a rental car and where traveling accross the eastern part of Crete. We went to Amazonas Park, a zoo with birds, turtles, monkeys. Highlight there was the feeding of the Lemurs. Visitors can buy food for them and feed them by hand. Besides that we visited nice viewpoints and nice beaches with excellent tavernas for lunch directly at the sea...
